As part of Conway’s First Saturday, Pop’s Glass Gallery & Studio will feature Captured - A Photographic Art Show. The exhibit is free, opens May 2 and continues throughout the month of May.
Captured is presented by the Horry County Photography Club and highlights the work of some of the area’s best amateur and professional photographers. Organized by Robbie Mills of Graphic Blend Studios, “The Horry County Photography Club's first photographic art show is sure to be amazing with over 20 participating photographers,” explains Mills. “The Horry County Photography Club is free and open to all Horry County residents. It is comprised of nearly 100 members ranging from professional to beginner from landscape photographers to portrait photographers. If it were not for great places like Pop's Glass, the public would never see many of these works. The eclectic mix of photographers, great location of Pop's Glass, and great spring weather will make this a May photographic showing you simply won't want to miss.” The Horry County Photography Club's mission is to provide local photographers, whether professional or just photography lovers, an outlet for learning, discovery, and most importantly, fun.
Captured features work by: Nicole Davis, Sue Davis, Brooke Christl, Christian Perello, Cheryl Dooley, Doreen Culberson, Diane Alexander, Anthony Morano, Pierre-Olivier Antoine Tavernier, J. William Gobbel, Wendy Kovac, Rebecca Hucks, Kristen Gardiner Bell, Myra Emmons-Burstein, Gary Ferguson, Rob Mills, Bobby Altman, Carl Kerridge, Johnny Lewis, Denise Lewis, Kevin Teachey, Rich Kuhn, Jolyn Kuhn and more.
